NFPA 70E Training
Expert-Led Electrical Safety Training
NFPA 70E® is a standard of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) that covers electrical safety requirements for employees. While various other industry standards (OSHA, ASTM, IEEE and NEC) provide guidelines for performance, NFPA 70E addresses practices and is widely considered as the de facto standard for electrical safety in the workplace.
Why is NFPA 70E Training Important?
The primary reason to provide NFPA 70E electrical safety training is to ensure workers are safe while working on or around electrically energized equipment. It is also a key step employers of electrical workers must take to comply with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.
Safe work practices, hazard identification, and PPE selection that affect the employee will be covered during training, in addition to documentation and compliance concerns that affect the employer. Training can be tailored to meet the specific needs, tasks, and equipment within your organization.

- Lockout/tagout procedures for electrical equipment
In addition to providing safe work practice direction, this course is designed to help companies fulfill their training requirements for compliance with OSHA 29 CFR Part 1910, Subpart S Electrical, and NFPA 70E “Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace.” You will learn about personal safety for working on or around electrical systems and equipment, how to use proper tools, materials and protective gear, and what procedures to use when doing electrical work.
